Medical (MBBS & BDS) Seats in India
The medical education aspirant’s population is very high in India, and this should be because the demand is very high. On the other hand, the supply of medical professionals and qualified doctors in India is still compromised. The number of seats in India is very less compared to the demand and the to the applicants. Every year around one million students participate in NEET (National Eligibility Test) in India for admission to medical education courses including MBBS, BDS, and other Medical courses.
In comparison, only 10% of participants get selected for admission to Government medical colleges. There are 88,000 seats for MBBS and 27,500 seats for BDS in India.
The higher the cost and the non-availability of seats in India give a thought to go to Ukraine for medical education.
